Toddler Lab is the perfect first school experience for your little learner, designed for students ages 18 months through the end of their 2nd year. We will gently guide your family through the separation process and provide a supportive and inspiring environment for all to thrive.

Once you know that Playful Learning is the right fit for your child, it’s time to fill out our application and tell us about you and your family.

SCHEDULE FAMILY VISIT

Once we’ve reviewed your application, you’ll receive an invitation to schedule a family visit. These private studio tours allow us to get to know you and your family and for you to all feel comfortable in our classroom spaces.

ACCEPTANCE AND ONBOARDING

Once we notify you of availability, it’s time to onboard into our systems. Once completed, you’ll have everything thing you need for smooth transition into school.

Playful Learning is a method of early childhood education that artfully weaves together play with learning. Through our expertly-curated curriculum and classrooms, students playfully work their way through carefully-planned, interdisciplinary, thematic explorations that meet the needs of the whole child.

From the toddlers who courageously separate for the first time, to the pre-kers who enthusiastically work towards cracking the phonetic code—and every child in between—Playful Learning is here to help children and families thrive through the early childhood years.

While each age group has their own schedule and order of doing things all of our classrooms follow a daily routine.

Here is an example:

1.Drop off outside: outdoor Investigations
2. Washing hands
3. Circle Time: greeting each other, music & movement,  read aloud, mini-lessons
4. Snack
5. Open Studio: exploration of classroom
6. Circle Time: whole class lessons featuring stories and songs

No, we are fully equipped to change diapers. When your child is ready we will work with your family to support this important milestone for your child.
